ABOUT ALLEN
Allen Smith, an architect, has been a jazz enthusiast since he was a student.
He founded Jazz on the Terrace in 1982 and promoted the first Dublin jazz festival in 1984 and three more festivals in Dublin.From 1988 Jazz on the Terrace promoted many concerts and arranged tours in Ireland, involving Irish and foreign musicians working together.
Allen has acted as an agent for jazz musicians and been involved in the production of four albums.
