ABOUT MARIAN
Marian began her broadcasting career at the age of 21 when she started working with Galway’s first pirate radio station in 1978. From there Marian quickly progressed to working with RTE from their regional studios in Galway & from there to 2FM where she presented the weekend breakfast shows and ‘Down to Earth’, an alternative lifestyle programme examining ecological issues. Marian moved to Canada for 10 years where she facilitated a Smoking Cessation Programme for the Ontario Lung Association. On her return she began working as a continuity announcer with RTE Television.
Marian runs a successful Hypnotherapy practice, www.hypnotherapyireland.ie and provides workshops in Self-Esteem and Confidence building and Stress Management.
