ABOUT TOM

Tom McGurk is one of Ireland’s most distinguished journalists and broadcasters and has been working in the Irish media for over 35 years. He has also worked in the UK media for ten years.

Current television credits include presenting major sports coverage with RTE Television and in the past Tom has presented a variety of lifestyle and news programmes and also reported on Channel 4 news and BBC’s Newsnight. Tom is a recipient of a Jacob’s Award for his radio documentary work and has also co-produced the Emmy award winning documentary series ‘The Long Journey Home’.
