It’s suitable for all ages (4yrs+) and all weather, hail, rain, snow or sunshine.

To get one of the amazing prizes all you have to do is play ‘On The Slopesl’ with Robbie Fogarty between 10am and 1pm.

PERSONAL TUITION – all skiing is with an instructor, close to you at all time giving you instruction when you need it.

Variable slopes – We can speed up the slopes and make them steeper if you are an advanced skier or preparing to ski “off-piste” etc or we we can slow the speed down and reduce the elevation of the slope to make it easier and safer for beginners.  We cater for kids as young as 4years old and have skiers 80yrs +

Non-Stop Ski Runs – because the ground is continually moving you can get in longer ski runs to build up your endurance and perfect your technique.  Chemmy Alcott says “these slopes allow you to link up several turns and also gives you a great workout”…

Great way to get into the sport! We have a lot of kids parties or school children each week… many who never went skiing in their life… leaving after 1hrs (with a smile on their face) having skied really well.

Typically we can get most people up to basic parallel skiing in 6 lessons…

Improve experts! – Most people turn better on one side.  Because skiers can see themselves ski (in the huge mirror) they can actually see where they can make improvements.  We also have video analysis and advanced instructor to help you get to your goal.

Professional & Stamina – Olympic race teams (in Holland) use these slopes to get their fitness and Chemmy Alcott UK No.1 Olympic skier was seriously impressed after skiing on the slopes in Dublin.

Beginners learn faster because the instructor is right beside them, they can see themselves in the mirror and there is no time wasted in queues for the lift.  In most artifical slopes you waste a lot of time queuing and often find it hard to get a decent length ski run in.  Places like the Chill FactorE or Hemel Hempstead in the UK are great as they have real snow… however typically you get 4.5-7.5 mins actual skiing out of every 1 and half hours.  Also because there is a two-way mirror at the bottom of the slope you can learn by watching other people on the slope!

Convenient - walk in and ski! Its so simple. Skis, snowboads, boots… it’s all supplied.  You walk in 15 mins before your lesson and ski for the hour and go home.

10K ski runs in SANDYFORD!  … Yes you heard it…the longest non-stop ski runs in Europe are open in the INDOOR SKI CENTRE SANDYFORD!

IRELAND’S FASTEST GROWING RADIO STATION:

30% GROWTH FOR CLASSIC HITS 4FM

October 27th 2011

Multi-city broadcaster Classic Hits 4FM has recorded over 30% growth in listenership in the latest independent radio ratings released today by IPSOS MRBI.

In the period April to September 2011 listenership to the service has increased by over 30% in comparison to the equivalent period in 2010. Classic Hits 4FM now reaches 145,000 listeners on a weekly basis which is an all-time high for the station.

The JNLR (Joint National Listenership Research) report confirms that Classic Hits 4FM has increased listenership in all of the markets that the station broadcasts to. Seán Ashmore, CEO said “we’re delighted to see significant growth in our weekly listenership in all of the key cities around the country – Dublin, Cork, Limerick and Galway have all responded to the new sound of Classic Hits 4FM by tuning-in in ever increasing numbers.”

Andy Matthews, Classic Hits 4FM’s Programme Director added “all of our programmes right across the entire day have recorded growth in the latest report published today. From breakfast through to late night, its great to see listeners loving what we do and making Classic Hits 4FM part of their day”.

With 30% growth in listener numbers, the figures published today illustrate the success of the new strategies that have been adopted by the station since June of this year.
